Mariane can conjure a unique set of armour that act both as a defensive and offensive tool. Unlike the other conjures shown so far in the series, she does not have control over the conjuration of the said armour due to the conditions established by herself, but she can deactivate it at will.
"Iron Maiden" is activated every time Mariane is targeted by a Nen ability, be it a materialized object or pure aura, up to four times under normal conditions, negating its effects and conjuring a piece of armour in her head, chest, arms and legs, respectively. For every piece of armour, her strength, speed and durability is increased by 25%, and she gains immunity to the effects of the Hatsu that she was targeted as long as she wears the armour, independently of its nature. For example, if she is hitten by an Emission attack in her chest, even if it was the first hit that she received and conjured the head piece, it does not harm her in any possible way. However, she can still be harmed by physical attacks strong enough to surpass the defenses of her armour. | |||||
